About Asentify
NFT marketplace on the Asentum testnet. Here are the questions people ask most.
›What is Asentify?
A marketplace for NFTs on the Asentum blockchain. You can browse collections, buy and sell, make offers, create your own collection and mint from drops. Everything is read from, and written to, the chain.
›Is this real money?
No. Asentify runs on the Asentum testnet. Testnet ASE has no value and the NFTs are for testing. The contracts are not audited. Don't send real funds to testnet addresses.
›Who holds my NFTs and my funds?
You do. Asentify never holds your NFTs or your keys. Every action (buy, list, offer, mint) is approved in your own wallet, and Asentify shows what it will do before you sign.
›How do I get test ASE?
Asentum explains how to get test ASE in its documentation (see its “Get Test ASE” guide). Once it is in your wallet, connect the wallet with the button at the top.
›How do I create an NFT collection?
Open Create, add a name and a logo, upload your files (stored on IPFS), then mint. You can also open a public mint so others can mint from your collection: it appears under Drops.
›What is a drop?
A collection whose creator opened a public mint: anyone can pay the price and receive the next NFTs. Each drop shows its price, how many are left and when it starts.
›What does “Verified” mean, and “Unverified”?
Collections found on the marketplace but not checked by Asentify are marked Unverified: anyone can create a contract that looks like a famous one, so check the creator before buying. A ✓ next to a name means Asentify checked that wallet by hand; see Verification.
›Why do some prices or numbers show a dash?
A dash means there is no data yet. Asentify never invents numbers: statistics come from the chain and from its own indexer of finalized events, which only covers trades made on the Asentify marketplace.
›Why is a picture missing?
Pictures live on IPFS and are fetched through public gateways. If a gateway is slow or the file isn't available, the card shows "No image" or "Image couldn't load". The NFT itself is not affected.
›Can I install it as an app?
Yes. Use Download app in the menu, or your browser's menu → Install app / Add to Home screen.
